LKQ UK & Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations and a high-performing team in a busy branch. You will drive efficiency, accuracy and safety while delivering excellent service to customers. A hands-on leader with warehouse or retail experience will thrive in this role.

You will oversee recruitment, coach staff, and manage daily briefings, ensuring targets and KPIs are met. The position involves a 44-hour week across Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays, and

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in warehouse/retail environments.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes.
• Understanding of P&L and stock booking processes.
• Ability to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations and support a General Assistant team.
• Ensure all areas comply with Health and Safety legislation.
• Balance performance across key KPIs in line with business goals.
• Maintain branch standards to sustain balanced performance.
• Lead, coach and develop teams for current and future needs.
• Hold regular reviews to boost engagement and development.
• Work with Operations Manager on succession planning.
• Oversee recruitment to attract future talent for the branch.
• Deliver daily briefings to align on key objectives and measures.
• Manage average 44 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8am–6pm, alternating Saturdays 8am–4pm.
