Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager for Norwich East (Broadlands / A47). This role focuses on leading the hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay.

You’ll be out on the floor, not merely supervising, and you’ll help the Hotel Manager drive continuous improvement. You don’t need prior hotel experience: transferable leadership from retail, hospitality or customer service is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Ability to make decisions and resolve guest issues quickly.
• Comfort working evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members and support guests throughout the day.
• Resolve guest questions and problems promptly.
• Collaborate with reception, restaurant and hotel management.
• Ensure safety and smooth running during busy periods.
