Job summary

Premier Inn York North West is seeking a Duty Manager to lead hotel operations on shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure a great guest stay.

You’ll motivate and coach colleagues, resolve guest questions, manage issues, and work with the Hotel Manager to keep things running smoothly. Prior hotel experience isn’t required; leadership in retail or service roles is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in busy customer-facing environments.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel shifts and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Assist guests with questions and resolve issues.
• Cover different departments from reception to restaurant as needed.
• Identify and fix issues early to keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
