Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll actively manage operations, brief your team, and resolve guest queries with confidence.

This permanent role offers guaranteed hours and on-site work at Parkway, Guildford, with opportunities to progress toward a Hotel Manager position.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading teams and managing shifts in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Confident decision-maker who stays calm during busy periods.
• Willing to learn hotel operations and progress to management.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
