Job summary

Premier Inn in St Andrews is seeking a Hotel Duty Manager to lead on shift, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll manage customer queries, coach team members, brief shifts, and help resolve issues promptly.

This role is ideal if you enjoy leading from the front and staying calm when busy. Permanent contract with guaranteed hours, full training, and clear progression paths are offered, with benefits including a staff card and pension

Qualifications

• You don’t need hotel experience but leadership experience in customer-facing roles is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
