Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager for Glasgow City Centre to help lead the hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure an excellent guest experience.

You’ll be on the floor, not just supervising, and you’ll learn how an entire hotel operates with support from experienced managers. A permanent contract with guaranteed hours is offered, with progression toward Hotel Manager roles for motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; previous roles in retail, hospitality, or customer service are suitable.
• You should be confident leading people and staying calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre‑shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
