A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd invites applications for a Duty Manager at Bala SPAR. The role covers 16 hours per week, with potential extra hours to cover sickness and holidays, and pays £13.75 per hour plus a bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in food retail or similar fast-paced operation.
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service standards.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to ensure a safe, legal and high performing store, whilst taking overall responsibility for the entire store during Duty Manager shifts.
• Assist in delivering all store operations, objectives and KPIs.
• Coach and support colleagues, developing a motivated and empowered team.
• Carry out performance and absence management as appropriate.
• Open/close the store and oversee colleague safety and stock/cash security during shifts.
• Perform cash reconciliations, voids and refunds and other till management tasks.
• Lead the team to provide an exceptional customer experience and engage with the local community.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
