Job summary

Nuffield Health Wakefield FWC is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the club, lead by example, engage with members and help hit sales targets. You will be on shift for opening/closing and must be able to swim well for Lifeguard breaks, with training provided onsite.

The role emphasises customer service, teamwork, and maintaining high standards in a supportive, health-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead by example and uphold quality standards.
• Willing to undergo lifeguard training and can swim to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club, including opening and closing during shifts.
• Prioritize member satisfaction and build strong relationships.
• Lead by example and support colleagues while maintaining high quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Cover Lifeguard breaks; swim to a high standard and train on site.

Up to £28,121 per annum, depending on skills and experience plus sales commission

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift

• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.

• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.

• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides

• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.

• Help achieve sales targets

• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
