Job summary

Nuffield Health Bridgend is seeking a Duty Manager for our Fitness & Wellbeing Club. You’ll oversee daily operations, open and close the club on shifts, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every member.

You'll drive member satisfaction, lead by example, and support colleagues while upholding high standards. You’ll conduct tours for prospective members, manage health and safety, and help achieve sales targets. You must be able to swim well and may undergo on-site lifeguard training.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-site lifeguard training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of the club; open/close during shifts.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and foster positive relationships.
• Lead by example and support colleagues to uphold high standards.

Bridgend FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent contract | Part time

Up to £28,038.40 pro rata depending on experience plus sales commission

16 hours per week

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
