Job summary

Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, is seeking a Duty Manager for our Croydon gym. You will ensure the smooth running of the club, prioritise member satisfaction, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.

You will engage with members, conduct tours for prospective members, and uphold health and safety protocols. A willingness to undergo Lifeguard training is required as part of covering lifeguard breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for member engagement.
• Ability to lead by example and support teammates.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability to on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day club operations including opening and closing shifts.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and build lasting relationships with members.
• Lead by example and support colleagues to uphold high standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting club benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues promptly.
• Must be able to swim to a high standard and complete Lifeguard training as needed.

• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
