Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland at Cheltenham Station and Gloucester Station Cafe Local is hiring a Duty Manager. You will lead busy shifts, open and close operations, and ensure smooth service across iconic brands. You’ll focus on customer excellence, motivate teams, and monitor performance to drive improvements.

18+ eligibility applies for certain tasks; role requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends and holidays. This is a full-time (30 hours) position with competitive hourly pay and employee

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality or retail.
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 or older for certain duties.

DUTY MANAGER – CHELTENHAM STATION STARBUKCS & GLOUCESTER STATION CAFE LOCAL

Rate of pay: £13.61 per hour

We have Full Time (30hrs) roles available

Operating Hours are 5:30am to 8:00pm. Working flexibly on weekdays, weekends, Bank and public holidays.

About You

• Due to some responsibilities within theDuty Managerrole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

About The Duty Manager Role

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in busy Hospitality or Retail is ideal.
