Job summary

Lucion Group in Hertfordshire is seeking a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team, covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. You’ll undertake surveys, air monitoring, and 4-stage clearances, reporting findings with practical asbestos advice.

We value careful site work, adherence to HSG248/HSG264, and the ability to travel between sites. A full UK driving licence and COE or RSPH equivalent are preferred, with a £1,000 joining bonus for

Qualifications

• Qualified in P402, P403 and/or P404, RSPH equivalent, or holds a relevant Certificate of Competence.
• Comfortable working to HSG248 and HSG264.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.
• Able to travel between sites and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
• Perform asbestos in the ground surveys and inspections.
• Carry out air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
• Complete 4-stage clearance and reoccupation testing.
• Inspect remediation works and verify contractor quality.
• Record site data using a phablet and NexGen reporting system.
• Produce accurate, defensible reports for clients.
• Explain asbestos findings and provide practical advice.
