Job summary

Lucion is seeking a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join the Hazardous Materials team, covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. You’ll conduct surveys, air tests, and clearances on client sites, ensuring projects meet HSG248/HSG264 standards and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates are P402/P403/P404 qualified (or RSPH equivalent) with UK driving licence and willingness to travel. Join us for a hands-on role with generous benefits and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Qualified in P402, P403 and/or P404, RSPH equivalent, or holds a relevant Certificate of Competence.
• Comfortable working to HSG248 and HSG264.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.
• Happy travelling between sites.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on site.
• Perform asbestos in the ground surveys and inspections.
• Carry out air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
• Complete 4-stage clearance and reoccupation testing.
• Inspect remediation works and verify contractor completion.
• Record site information on a phablet and NexGen reporting system.
• Produce accurate, defensible reports for clients.
• Advise clients on asbestos risks and compliance.
