Job summary

Lucion Group is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join the Hazardous Materials team and cover the Northampton area. You’ll conduct surveys, air monitoring and reporting on-site, working with clients and contractors to manage asbestos risks and ensure compliance with HSG248/HSG264.

Qualifications

• Qualified in P402, P403 and/or P404, or RSPH equivalent.
• HSG248 and HSG264 guidance familiarity.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.
• Able to work independently while still being part of a supportive team.
• Calm under pressure and thorough when standards aren’t met.
• Willing to travel between sites.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
• Asbestos in the ground surveys and inspections.
• Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
• 4-stage clearances and reoccupation testing.
• Inspect remediation works and verify contractor work.
• Record site information using phablet and NexGen reporting system.
• Produce accurate, defensible reports.
• Talk to clients and provide practical asbestos advice.
• Follow legislation and guidance (HSG248/HSG264).
• Keep QHSE paperwork up to date and follow internal processes.
