Job summary

Lucion Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team in the Northampton area. The role involves on-site surveys, air monitoring, and reporting to ensure asbestos risks are properly identified and controlled.

You will work independently within a supportive team, handle 4-stage clearances, and ensure compliance with HSG248 and HSG264. A full UK manual driving licence and a commitment to safe, high-quality work are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in P402, P403 and/or P404 or RSPH equivalent or holds a relevant Certificate of Competence.
• Able to work to HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.

Responsibilities

• Management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
• Asbestos in the ground surveys and inspections.
• Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
• 4-stage clearances and reoccupation testing.
• Inspecting remediation works and ensuring contractor quality.
• Recording site information using a phablet and NexGen reporting.
• Producing accurate, defensible reports.
• Communicating with clients and providing asbestos advice.
