Job summary

Lucion is seeking a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team, covering the Stoke on Trent area. You’ll be field-based, carrying out surveys, air tests and clearance activities to ensure asbestos risks are properly identified, managed and reported.

The role requires P402/P403/P404 or RSPH or equivalent, familiarity with HSG248/HSG264, and a valid UK driving licence. You’ll work with clients and contractors on-site, producing accurate reports and upholding safety

Qualifications

• Qualified in P402, P403 and/or P404, RSPH equivalent, or holds a relevant Certificate of Competence.
• Comfortable working to HSG248 and HSG264.
• Experienced asbestos professional with sound technical judgement.
• Able to work independently while being part of a supportive team.
• Willing to travel between sites and hold a full UK driving licence.
• Prioritises quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Management, refurbishment and demolition surveys.
• Air monitoring and fibre counting.
• 4-stage clearances and reoccupation testing.
• Inspecting remediation works for proper completion.
• Producing accurate, defensible reports and client communications.
• Keeping QHSE paperwork up to date.
