Job summary

Lendable is seeking a Complaints and Data Rights Administrator to manage end-to-end Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data rights tasks. You will ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act within statutory deadlines, liaising with multiple teams to locate, extract and securely deliver customer data.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong written communication, and the ability to improve DSAR processes and tooling in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling DSARs or data rights requests in a regulated environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high-volume caseloads against deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing and redacting data.
• Clear written communication to explain data rights outcomes in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of DSARs and data rights requests from receipt to closure, tracking statutory deadlines.
• Liaise with Operations, Product, Engineering, Complaints to locate and extract relevant customer data.
• Review and redact data to protect third-party information and apply exemptions.
• Maintain accurate records of requests, decisions and rationale for auditability.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding status and outcomes of requests.
• Escalate complex or high-risk requests to the Data Protection Officer or Legal team.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to DSAR handling tooling and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
