Job summary

B&M Retail Limited seeks a DSAR Administrator (Data Protection) to join the Information Security Team for an initial 3-month contract (Inside IR-35). Based at the Speke, Liverpool centre, you will support DSAR delivery across the UK business and collaborate with HR, Legal, and IT to ensure compliant handling.

You will manage data collection, reviews, redactions, and audit trails, ensuring regulatory alignment and continuous improvement of processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting DSARs or data collection activities.
• Experience using Microsoft Purview eDiscovery Premium.
• Understanding of GDPR and UK Data Protection legislation.
• Attention to detail with ability to review large volumes of information.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive mindset with continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of DSARs.
• Conduct searches and data collection across Microsoft 365 using Purview eDiscovery Premium.
• Review, organise and prepare information for disclosure.
• Apply redactions and protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Information Security and IT.
• Maintain records and audit trails of all activities.
• Ensure GDPR and UK data protection compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and governance.
