Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is recruiting for an Information Disclosure role within the Communications division in Edinburgh. You will focus on Data Subject Access Requests and information rights, ensuring timely, accurate disclosures under UK GDPR and related laws.

You will work across teams to gather information, apply exemptions, draft responses, and maintain high standards of accuracy while meeting deadlines. SC clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Data Protection Rights requests (DSARs) under UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to apply ICO guidance and internal policies to make sound decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Handle Data Subject Access Requests and information rights requests in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Manage caseload, meet statutory deadlines, and liaise with FCA business areas to gather information.
• Draft clear responses to requesters and stakeholders, explaining information access rights.
