About the Role

Our client, the UK's largest independent supplier of fridge parts, is seeking a skilled driver and warehouse operative to join their dynamic team based in Trafford Park. This multi-faceted role encompasses various responsibilities, including delivery, order picking and packing, general warehouse duties, and front-of-shop management.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery : Transport goods to clients across the North West and Wales.
• Order Picking : Accurately select items for orders.
• Loading and Unloading : Efficiently handle containers and manage stock.
• Stock Processing : Process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Warehouse Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness, manage floor space, and handle recycling.
• Health and Safety : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse rules.

Requirements

• Experience : Previous driving and warehouse experience is essential.
• Driving Licence : Must hold a clean UK driving licence.
• Van Driving : Previous experience driving vans is required.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills are necessary due to the customer-facing nature of the role.
• Flexibility: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. However, flexibility is necessary as hours may vary.
