Job summary

Orbis Education & Care Limited is recruiting a Support Worker for Forestry House near Neath. This full-time role covers 39 hours weekly across days, evenings, nights and weekends, with driving duties essential.

You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs and help them live more independently. The role includes driving clients to appointments and activities, building trusting relationships, and enabling development of life skills in a warm, supportive

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence is essential.
Confident driver for daily support duties.
Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop while supporting individuals.
Right to Work in the UK with visa considerations; Enhanced DBS with barred list check.

Responsibilities

Support adults with daily living to promote emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
Drive individuals to appointments, activities and community visits.
Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
Encourage independence and development of everyday life skills.
Work as part of a team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Complete daily records and relevant documentation.
Assist with cooking, cleaning and general household tasks.
