Job summary

Orbis Education & Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Forestry House near Neath. This full-time role covers 39 hours weekly, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, with a required full UK driving licence.

You will assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a newly refurbished residential setting. The role offers competitive pay (£13.45–£13.75 per hour), £55 sleep-in pay, and discounts via Blue Light Card, plus opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Confidence driving as part of daily support duties.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with daily living to promote emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
• Drive individuals to appointments, activities and community visits.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Encourage independence and support the development of everyday life skills.
• Work as part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
• Complete daily records and relevant documentation.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning and general household tasks.
