Job summary

Priority, part of Orbis Education & Care, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a four-bedroom home near Bridgend. You will help adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, mental health needs and autism to grow in confidence and independence.

We offer full training, a supportive team, and a rota that covers days, evenings, weekends and waking nights. A full UK driving licence is required due to the rural location. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with daily living to ensure emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
• Build trusting relationships so individuals feel safe and understood.
• Encourage independence and life skills development.
• Support activities at home, in education programmes, or in the community.
• Tailor support to each individual's needs with the team.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and incidents.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks like cooking, cleaning and meal prep.
• Demonstrate a caring, patient and resilient approach to support.
• Flexible to work across days, evenings, weekends and nights on a rota.
• Hold a full UK driving licence due to the rural location.
• Participate in full training provided.
