Job summary

Orbis Education & Care in Neath is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join Forestry House near Neath, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a rural, refreshed home. A full UK driving licence and confident driving are essential for daily support.

Full-time 39 hours per week across days, evenings, nights and weekends; sleep-ins paid. Competitive hourly pay plus night-rate sleep-ins and progression opportunities.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team at Forestry House, a newly refurbished five-bedroom residential service set in a rural location near Neath. The service has been recently updated to provide a warm, modern and comfortable environment for both the people we support and our staff.

What We’re Looking For

This Support Worker role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable and confident behind the wheel. No previous experience is required - full training is provided.

You must have:

• A full UK driving licence (essential)

Right to Work Requirement:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and, where applicable, hold a visa with at least 18 months remaining at the time of application. We cannot accept applications from Student Visa holders or candidates requiring sponsorship or sponsorship transfers. Successful candidates with a time-limited right to work will be employed on a fixed-term contract ending on their visa expiry date.

This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
