Job summary

Veolia in Croydon, UK is seeking a customer-focused waste driver to operate an RCV Dustcart for commercial collections. You’ll follow Veolia procedures, input data into the onboard system, and submit daily paperwork accurately.

The role requires a Class 2 (Cat C) licence and a current CPC Digi/Tachograph card. Expect 48 hours per week with early starts; a salary around £44,744 per annum plus Veolia benefits and daily meal allowance, with opportunities for training and progression.

• Desirable Waste Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive an RCV Dustcart vehicle for commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures.

• Perform daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight restrictions.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving an RCV Dustcart vehicle to carry out commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we’re looking for
