Job summary

Veolia UK in Croydon is looking for a driver to operate an RCV Dustcart, performing commercial waste collections and ensuring accurate data entry and daily reporting. The role starts early, with a 48-hour week in a fixed schedule.

You will complete vehicle checks, comply with all traffic regulations, and maintain records per Veolia procedures. A Cat C license, CPC, and Digi/Tachograph card are essential, with waste experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential driving qualifications for a waste collections role.
• CPC, Digi/Tachograph card up to date.
• Experience with waste collection operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive an RCV Dustcart to carry out commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures.
• Log data into onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight limits.

What you’ll be doing;

• Driving an RCV Dustcart vehicle to carry out commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we’re looking for;

Essential

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up-to-date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph card

Desirable

• Waste Management experience
