Job summary

Veolia is recruiting a driver in Croydon for a 48-hour weekly schedule starting early morning. The role involves operating an RCV Dustcart for commercial waste collections, with duties including daily data entry, vehicle checks, and strict adherence to traffic laws and load limits.

The position offers benefits and growth opportunities within a large environmental services company and requires a valid Class 2 licence and CPC Digi/Tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Essential Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Desirable Waste Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive an RCV Dustcart vehicle for commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures.
• Input information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

Hours: 48 Hours per week, 04:00 am starts and finishing around 14:30

What you’ll be doing

• Driving an RCV Dustcart vehicle to carry out commercial waste collections following Veolia procedures
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we’re looking for

• Essential Class 2 (Cat C) licence

• Desirable Waste Management experience
