Job summary

Veolia Group in Falkirk is seeking a skilled driver to operate waste collection routes, loading and unloading containers across commercial sites. You will manage daily documentation, perform vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with road regulations and safety standards.

The role requires a Class 2 license with a valid CPC Digi/Tachograph card and relevant waste management experience. A full-time position with 48 hours per week and flexible start times is offered, with Veolia benefits and meal

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) license.
• Up-to-date CPC Digi / Tachograph Card.
• Desirable: Previous waste management experience (RORO and Skip).

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight restrictions.
• Leave carriageway clean and promptly clean any spillages.

What you'll be doing

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

What we're looking for

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) license

• Desirable: Previous waste management experience RORO and Skip experience
