Job summary

Veolia Group in Shrewsbury is seeking a permanent Driver (Cat C) to join our busy collection crews. You will drive and load, supporting recycling and waste collection for local communities.

You’ll perform vehicle checks, log work on an onboard tablet, and help keep streets clean. The role is 37 hours weekly with a 6:45 am start and offers Veolia benefits.

Qualifications

• Cat C/Class 2 licence required.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph card required.
• Ability to drive and perform loading duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Shrewsbury.
• Drive the vehicle and undertake loading duties.
• Carry out vehicle defect checks and report issues.
• Record work on onboard tablet and keep areas clean.
