Job summary

Veolia Group in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated HGV driver to join our waste transfer operation. You will drive a walking floor vehicle to collect waste from Waterdale, Ware and Hitchin sites and transport it to disposal locations, contributing to local community services.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week with a 5am start. Benefits include pension, 20 days’ annual leave, and health resources; CPC/Digi Tachograph and HGV Class 1 license are required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste from Waterdale, Ware and Hitchin sites to disposal locations on a HGV walking floor.
• Operate transfer station processes and support delivery of council waste recycling objectives.
