Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking an Installation Specialist to join a two-person delivery crew. You will drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle, load deliveries, install products, and demonstrate usage at customers' homes.

The role demands strong customer service, care for customers' spaces, and adaptability to varying schedules. You must have a UK Manual C1 licence, DCPC or Driver Qualification Card by day one, Tachograph Card, and prior installation experience.

Qualifications

• Experience of installation is required; accreditation to installer is provided by the employer.
• C1 UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card knowledge is essential.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle is required.
• Customer-facing experience and good verbal communication are essential.
• Comfort with technology and devices used in deliveries and installations.

Responsibilities

• Load deliveries onto the lorry with the warehouse team.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate operation to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and respect the customer's home.
• Ensure safe working practices and handle unexpected situations.
• Stay up to date with new products and technologies.
