Job summary

John Lewis Partnership seeks a Technician Specialist to install products at customers' homes as part of a two-person delivery crew in a 7.5-tonne vehicle. You will coach other drivers and model excellent customer service.

Role requires installation experience, heavy lifting, and a focus on safety. Training and accreditation are provided, with typical full-time hours across seven days.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience is required and accreditation provided.
• DCPC or Drivers Qualification Card must be held by day one, Tachograph knowledge included.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with top customer service.
• Coach and develop delivery driver colleagues to perform at their best.
• Load and secure deliveries with warehouse support for the day.
• Respect customer homes and handle unexpected issues to find solutions.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate their use after installation.
• Stay updated on new products and technologies to perform well.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
