Job summary

Wolseley UK in Measham is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver 18T plus. You will join a reliability-driven transport team delivering a wide range of items to diverse addresses, ensuring excellent customer service and vehicle safety.

The role is based in Measham, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with a focus on safe driving, efficient routes and strong relationships with customers and suppliers. A Class 2 HGV licence and Driver CPC are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC certificate.
• Experience with digital handheld devices encouraged.
• Confident interaction with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Offering excellent customer service at all times.
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers as a Wolseley ambassador.
• Adhering to Health and Safety, performing daily vehicle and load checks, reporting defects.
• Working with the transport team and administration.
• Unloading/loading at customer premises when required.

As a HGV Driver based in Measham you'll be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday

Requirements
