Job summary

Wolseley in Milton Keynes is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver 32T. You will deliver a variety of items to customer addresses, provide excellent service and maintain strong relationships with customers to uphold the Wolseley brand.

Role requires a Class 1 HGV licence, CPC, and familiarity with digital tachographs. You will work 45 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with opportunities to earn bonuses and access to a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full, Class 1 HGV licence.
• Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs.
• Driver CPC.
• Experience with digital handheld devices.
• Confident interacting with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all times.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration.
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required.

As a HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes youll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes


• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
