Job summary

Wolseley in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver 18T plus based in Measham. You will deliver a wide range of items to customers, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

The role requires a full Class 2 HGV licence, knowledge of digital tachographs, Driver CPC, and comfort with handheld devices. Monday to Friday, 45 hours weekly, within the transport team, with bonus potential and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

• Adhere to Health and Safety, perform daily vehicle/equipment checks and report defects.
• Collaborate with transport team and administration.
• Load/unload at customer premises when required.

As a HGV Driver based in Measham youll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday

And heres what wed like you to have:

• A full, Class 2 HGV licence
• Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
• Driver CPC
• Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
