Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Burton-on-Trent is seeking a Driver Development Assessor to coach and develop our driver team, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performance operations across the fleet.

In this role you will work with drivers and transport management to deliver training, assess performance, maintain training records, and support new processes and digital initiatives across the transport operation.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C) and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card required or beneficial.
• Experience in coaching and developing others is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver training, assessments, inductions, and refresher coaching.
• Support investigations into accidents, incidents and compliance issues; identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor driver performance using Tachomaster or Microlise and provide developmental feedback.
