Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wakefield is looking for a delivery driver to join our team. You’ll make multi-drop deliveries to pubs and clubs, sometimes navigating stairs and cellars, and you’ll handle keg deliveries with care and safety.

This role is physical and active, with early starts and a Monday–Friday pattern. You’ll work in a safety-conscious environment and benefit from our pension and employee support programmes. Join the team behind the scenes delivering more than just beer.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence OR Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6+ months of recent driving experience.
• Are ready to take on a highly physical role and enjoy being on the move.

Responsibilities

• Handling between 4 to 20 drops per day, keeping your day varied and active
• Manual handling of goods - including unloading kegs of beer at customer sites
• Delivering to cellars and navigating stairs - a great way to stay fit while you work!
• Driving safely and efficiently, always in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following top-tier health & safety standards, with full compliance to The Highway Code and vehicle regulations
• Making multi-drop deliveries to pubs and clubs - bringing the good stuff to good people!
