Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Swansea is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time.

You will drive in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive, complete vehicle checks, and handle heavy kegs as required. The position is permanent and full-time, with early-morning shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Preferably 6 months driving experience.
• Ability to perform regular manual handling of heavy kegs.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Follow health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Regularly complete vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of Alcohol Kegs.

play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of Alcohol Kegs

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
• Due to the nature of the role, regular manual handling of heavy kegs is required. Applicants should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the position safely and effectively.
• Can work 5 or 6 Saturdays in a year when required.
