Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Class 2 Driver for Morrisons Allington in the South East region. The role is permanent full-time, 42 hours per week, with two rotas available. You will deliver cages and pallets, drive safely, and comply with regulations.

Applicants should hold a valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card; six months of recent driving seen as ideal. On-site parking and a strong pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Be physically fit due to high levels of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of cages and pallets to customer premises in the South East region including Central London.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards, including The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly complete vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products including cages up to 400 kg.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

• Multi-drop store deliveries of cages and pallets to customer premises to locations in the South East region including Central London
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards, including The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly completing vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products including pushing cages of up to 400 kg

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Are physically fit, as this role involves high levels of manual handling.
