Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Northampton is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to help keep our operations running smoothly and deliveries on time. This permanent, full-time role follows a Monday–Friday rota from 04:00 to 06:00, with no weekends or bank holidays.

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card; ideally with 12 months recent driving experience. Benefits include 33 days annual leave, a contributory pension, free GP, and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

• Provide 4–5 drops per day with some planned night outs.
• Deliveries unloaded by customer; collect returns and pallets.

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• 4-5 Drops a day with some planned nights out
• All deliveries are offloaded by customer so no manual handling involved
• Collecting returns (Pallets and waste)
• No weekend or Bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown!

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
