Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Class 1 HGV Driver to support operations in the Stoke-on-Trent area. You will deliver goods safely, adhere to Driver Hours rules, and perform vehicle checks as part of a busy logistics team.

Role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card, with preference for recent driving experience and the ability to handle rear-store deliveries using tail lifts. On-site benefits and shift premiums apply.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E) with Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 12 months of recent driving experience.
• Polite and friendly with a can-do attitude.
• Experience with Double Deck is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and WTD.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and servicing as required.
• Deliver 1–3 store deliveries to rear of store using tail lift and pump truck.

Pay Rate: £44,177.81 (£17.69 PH) +shift premiums any hours worked between 10pm and 6am (£21.23 PH) any hours worked between 4pm and 10pm (£19.46 PH) Grade: P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time and part time) Shift patterns: Monday-Friday start times between 01.00-03.00 Location: Dunelm, Stoke On Trent ST4 4FA Think you know DHL? Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• 1-3 store deliveries delivering to the rear of the store using a tail lift and electric pump truck with some manual handling required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
• Are polite and friendly and have a can do attitude
• Double Deck experience is desirable
• Are confident manoeuvering in a tight yard
