Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry (Crick Side) is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team, delivering goods safely and on time as part of a permanent, full-time role. You will drive Class 1 vehicles, follow Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, ideally 12 months of recent experience, and curtain-side trailer know-how.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving licence (C) with Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Around 12 months’ recent driving experience preferred.
• Experience with curtain side trailers on HGVs.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours Regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks before and after trips.
• Handle and manually load/unload customer products.

Pay Rate: £44,098.24 plus overtime 1.5 after 48 hours

Shift patterns: Friday to Monday ,48 Hours - start times AM or PM

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE?

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO?

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
• Previous experience with curtain side on HGVs
