Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 Driver based in London to ensure timely, safe deliveries to local London Depots. The role involves adhering to safety standards, performing vehicle checks, and transporting goods between depots with a focus on efficiency.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card, with at least 6 months driving experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 6 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code at all times.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and maintenance checks.
• Transport customer products from Depot to Depot across London routes.

Shift patterns: Tuesday - Saturday - AM starts

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Transportation of customer products from Depot to Depot

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 6 months recent driving experience
