Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry (Crick Side) is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our logistics team. You will drive safely, perform routine vehicle checks and ensure timely deliveries while following Drivers' Hours rules.

The role operates on a 4-on, 4-off pattern, averaging 42 hours per week, with early and late start times. We offer a strong pension, GP access, discounts and financial guidance.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Ideal: 12 months recent driving experience.
• Experience with curtain side HGVs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code at all times.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and report issues.
• Handle and move customer products manually when required.

Pay Rate: £38,555.64 plus overtime 1.5 after 42 hours

Grade: CA

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Four On, Four Off 42 hours per week-3am start time x 1 plus 21:00 up to 00:00 start times x 3

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO?

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
• Previous experience with curtain side on HGVs
