Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Liverpool is seeking a Class 1 Dray Driver to join our busy transport operation, delivering beer kegs and cases to customer locations across the region.

This hands-on role combines professional driving with physical delivery work and excellent customer service, supported by a strong pension scheme, healthcare perks and competitive pay. You will work Monday to Friday with early start times, in a safety‑minded team environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver beer kegs and cases to pubs, bars, restaurants and other customer locations.
• Load and unload products safely using manual handling techniques.
• Complete vehicle checks and deliver paperwork accurately.
• Use handheld tech to record deliveries and liaise with the transport team.
• Work with Drivers Mates, customers and the transport team throughout the day.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering beer kegs and cases to pubs, bars, restaurants, and other customer locations
• Loading and unloading products safely using approved manual handling techniques
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are carried out safely and compliantly
• Using handheld technology and completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Working closely with Drivers Mates, customers, and the transport team throughout the day

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months Class 1 driving experience and good geographical knowledge
• Are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Enjoy working closely with customers and providing a professional service
• Work well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
