Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Lutterworth (LE17 4XN) is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to help keep our operations running smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time. This is a permanent, full‑time role with a 2am Monday–Friday start.

A typical day includes driving safely, performing vehicle checks, complying with road regulations, and occasional trips to Felixstowe or Southampton docks. Parking on‑site and an on‑site canteen are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving licence (C+E) required.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with regulations.
• Regular vehicle checks and maintenance checks.
• Trailer swapping 2–3 times per day at customer sites.
• Occasional trips to Felixstowe or Southampton docks.

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to

play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Trailer swapping at customer sites 2 or 3 a day
• No Handballing involved and not long hours
• Occasionally going to Felixstowe or Southampton Docks (Rides cards will be supplied and training given)

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
