A typical day may involve manual handling, safe driving, compliance with regulations and regular vehicle checks. The role is based in Aberdeen AB21 0GL, with permanent, full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling of kegs and crates; physically demanding.
• Drive safely in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report issues.

Pay Rate: £39,939.21

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday with start times around 5am
Location: Aberdeen AB21 0GL

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to deliver Alcohol to Pubs. This is a VERY physically demanding role.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Manual handling of Kegs and crates of Alcohol. Therefore this is very physically demanding.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be comfortable working a very physically demanding role.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
