Job summary

Veolia Group in Northampton is seeking a HGV Driver/Loader to drive a class 2 lorry, load waste materials, and collect waste in line with Highway Code.

You will perform pre-use checks on vehicles and equipment, work 45 hours per week, and contribute to efficient waste collection services for local communities. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Strong time management.
• Team working and effective communication.
• Willingness to work 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive a class 2 HGV and comply with Highway Code.
• Check systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use.
• Load and unload waste materials.
• Collect waste materials.
• Work as part of a team to meet schedules.
