Job summary

Veolia Group in Northampton is hiring an HGV Driver/Loader to operate a Class 2 vehicle, load waste materials and ensure safety checks before trips. The role requires adherence to Highway codes and efficient time management.

You will contribute to Veolia's waste management operations with a focus on reliability, safety and professional communication with colleagues and site teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 HGV licence and Driver CPC.
• Demonstrated time management and ability to work in a team.
• Clear communication skills and safe driving record.
• Familiarity with Highway codes and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV and load waste materials safely.
• Check vehicle systems, tools and machinery before use.
• Comply with Highway codes and loading procedures.
• Collect and transport waste materials to designated sites.

Salary: £33,262.37

Hours: (0630-1600) 45 hours per week

What you’ll be doing

• Complying with Highway codes
• Driving a class 2 HGV
• Checking systems, vehicles, equipment,tools and machinery before uses
• Loading waste materials
• Collecting waste materials
