A leading facilities management company is seeking individuals to deploy and collect equipment for traffic management, specifically to support major events in central London such as the Notting Hill Carnival. Candidates must demonstrate experience in driving 7.5 tonne vehicles and must pass a CTC Police clearance. A flexible, physically capable approach is required for this role.
To deploy and collect equipment and traffic management signage to support our contract with The Metropolitan Police Service. To cover major events within central London such as Notting Hill Carnival. You will be required to participate in a call‑out system and cover some out of hours work paid at an enhanced rate. This is a very physical role. Responsible for: Vehicle checks.
Equipment for delivery and collection. Prompt return of information as required, i.e. work sheets, time sheets etc.
This is not meant as an exhaustive list and a flexible multiskilled approach by all staff is required.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have driven a 7.5 tonne vehicle. You would have done your C.P.C. or started the modules. LGV 2 would be advantageous and Chapter 8 Sign Light and Guard would be desirable. You will be required to pass a CTC Police clearance.
